I studied Latin, Greek, and Classical Armenian — but I also love cooking, walking in nature, and watching slightly tragic queer films. I'm passionate about literature, especially by women writers, and on slow days you'll find me crocheting with a cup of herbal tea. I was born in Genoa, lived in Bologna, and now I'm based in Abruzzo.
I believe the best way to learn a language is through conversation — in a space where you don’t feel judged, but free to make mistakes and learn at your own pace, in your own way.
I'm a patient, creative, and very curious teacher. I love listening to people and finding the right way to help them feel comfortable with the Italian language. I’ve taught in many different contexts — in schools, and also in associations supporting migrants — and I easily adapt to my students’ learning styles.
If you’re looking for a welcoming teacher who will encourage you to speak without fear (and with a touch of irony), I might be the right one for you. My lessons are light, but never superficial!
Whether you want to master Italian just to order the perfect aperitivo at a bar — or because you dream of reading Dante’s Divina Commedia in the original — I’m here to help you!

Mi piacciono molto le lezioni! Katerina sempre seleziona i temi interessanti e aiutami a correggere gli errori di discorso. mi sento che il mio livello sta diventando piu alto e spero che posso prendere un esame per b1 livello presto.
