Language Coach from Australia | 10+ Years’ Experience Helping You Speak Confidently Sometimes it feels surreal to realise that I live in one of the most liveable cities in the world. I’m from Melbourne, Australia. It's a city known for its rich arts and culture, and most importantly, great coffee! As a Taiwan-born Australian, I first became bilingual in English and Mandarin. Beyond my roots, my friends and family know me as a European language and culture enthusiast. My passion for languages led me to master French and become conversational in Spanish and Swedish. I understand how hard it is to reach fluency because I’ve done it for different languages. As a fellow learner and experienced teacher, I can offer helpful tips and techniques to support your progress. I never imagined I’d be teaching languages for 10+ years. But here I am. I’ve been teaching professionally since 2012. Although I now have another full-time career, I’ve never stopped teaching. Why? Because nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students grow. I’ve taught learners from 4 continents, and some have stayed with me for 5+ years. Often, they’re amazed at how far they’ve come. Today, I work as a marketing manager, mentoring my team to grow daily. To me, teaching is the same: guiding people to become better versions of themselves. I have studied with Kirby for a while AND he is my favorite teacher in 2024 on italki⭐️ In the first class, he would have a free talk to know your purposes of learning, your learning preference and your goals to meet for language. After several sessions, we reached an agreement to dive in diverse topics in different industries. It is obvious that I have learnt a lot knowledge and I think more deeply by expressing more. I definitely recommend Kirby for everyone who is hesitate to start a talk. Btw I also have selfishness that do not grab the time slot I want LOL😂
