Hello! I’m your supportive guide for German and Swedish learners, especially shy and sensitive speakers. Born and raised in Germany, I worked in banking and consulting before moving to Sweden in 2002—so I understand the challenges of adapting to a new language and culture firsthand.
My approach? No grammar drills—just natural, stress-free conversations. Like when I learned Swedish by listening, speaking, and embracing mistakes, I help you build confidence the same way. While living in Sweden, I have had the privilege to have gathered experience as a teacher for people immigrating to the country (SFI teacher), and also as a teacher for adolescent students at a regular school.
These experiences taught me how important it is to create a safe, encouraging space for learning, where students feel safe and supported rather than judged.
Since I have relocated from Germany to Sweden, I also know a bit or two about the challenges of moving to a new country, starting a new life, including learning a new language and adapting to a new culture and often unspoken rules. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
In my view, the best learning experience happens when both the student and the teacher enjoy the process. My mantra: It’s not a competition.
My teaching style is relaxed and stress-free, with the pace always set by you. I am convinced that the most natural way to learn a language is by using it in real conversations.
Children don’t start with grammar, they start with listening, speaking, and repeating. That’s why I focus on helping you speak with confidence and ease, instead of grammar rules.
We use our lessons to bring the language to life through meaningful conversation.

Das Gespräch mit Christopher war unterstützend und sehr vertrauensvoll, was ich für das Sprachenlernen enorm wichtig finde.
