I’m Jade, a photographer currently based in Chengdu. I studied in Canada and France and lived in Paris for three years, so I also speak fluent French. I used to work as a documentary photographer and now focus on pet photography — my work has taken me to many places and allowed me to experience diverse cultures. I love traveling, outdoor activities, and observing people’s stories, which naturally inspires the way I teach and communicate with my students.Moi en tant que professeur
I’m patient, open-minded, and easy to talk to. Because I’ve personally experienced many different cultures, I truly enjoy exchanging ideas about the interesting, sometimes funny, differences between them. I believe language learning is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about understanding how people think and express themselves in different contexts. My background in documentary work helps me notice details, listen carefully, and adjust my teaching style to each student’s goals and personality. My classes focus on real, practical Chinese that you can use in daily life.
• For beginners, we build a strong foundation with pinyin and pronunciation through simple and engaging exercises.
• For conversation lessons, I use role-plays and real-life scenarios — such as , traveling, or meeting new friends — to help you speak naturally,confidently with native speakers.
• For culture lessons, we explore both traditional and modern Chinese culture, including festivals, customs, and daily life. We also discuss trending content from platforms like Xiaohongshu, Douyin,so you can understand how young people in China express themselves today.
