I truly appreciate the time and effort put into helping me break down sentences and verb modifications so I can study further on my own. Takeo has a wonderful way of keeping the pace comfortable and customized as much as possible, making sure I always feel informed and never rushed.

After having several lessons with Takeo now I can say he's a great dude and he's awesome to talk to. If you're looking to have conversations in real natural Japanese rather than fake textbook Japanese, his lessons are perfect. Every lesson has been very fun and he's always attentive, helping me figure out how to express words and ideas that I couldn't use before. I've been taking lessons with Takeo for over a month now - during which we've steadily gotten to know each other not only as tutor and student, but also as peers. Today was working on defining similar words in Japanese and creating proper sentences in order to do so. There was a very instructive moment that helped break down sentence structure into active or passive and how to include elements that support the main subject
