It was a great experience. Samuel asked me a lot of questions in Spanish to get to know me. As I answered, he worked with me on how to respond correctly. As I'm still learning, it really helped that as he was speaking in Spanish he translated right after in English for me.

😄✨
I had an absolutely amazing experience learning Spanish with this professor! He is a truly outstanding teacher — knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly passionate about what he does 😊📚 His lessons were not only well-structured but also fun, dynamic, and full of energy ✨
What I appreciated most was how he went beyond textbook Spanish and taught real Venezuelan slang and authentic accents from Venezuela and across Latin America 🌎🇻🇪 That made such a big difference in helping me understand how people actually speak in real life 😄
He is also very friendly, approachable, and supportive, which made every class feel comfortable and motivating 🙌😊 I always looked forward to our lessons!
I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to truly experience Spanish in a practical, cultural, and engaging way 😊✨⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Please don't use him as a tutor. Before the lesson, I explained I am upper A2 and wanted the focus to be speaking practice. Samuel agreed we would work on what I need to improve. However, he initially spoke extremely fast in Spanish — I had to ask three times within the first 15 minutes for him to slow down. After that, he switched almost entirely to English for the rest of the lesson.
I continued trying to speak Spanish, but he kept responding in English, so I didn’t get meaningful speaking practice. The main takeaway was that I should immerse myself in the language, which I already knew.
The lesson felt more like a language exchange where he was practicing English. I also question the C1 English level stated on his profile.
I cannot recommend him as a Spanish tutor. I also found it draining to carry most of the conversation, especially when short Spanish questions led to long English answers. For feedback he just sent a copy and paste text from from chatgpt. He seems nice though.
