I genuinely enjoy talking with people, learning their stories, and having meaningful conversations about a wide range of topics. Since I’ve lived in several different countries, I bring an eclectic, global perspective that naturally fuels curiosity and discussion in my classes. My background as an Air Force veteran, a 13-year public school teacher, and as a parent, has shaped me into an organized, culturally aware, and people-centered educator. My lessons will be goal-oriented. Most importantly, they will be “personalized” according to the “specific” part of learning English that the student wants to improve the most. Whether the student’s focus is, improving their pronunciation, improving their accent, improving their vocabulary or improving their conversational skills, my lessons will accomplish the mission.
My teaching style is structured, approachable, and conversation-driven. I focus on creating a relaxed, yet professional environment, where students feel comfortable speaking and sharing ideas.
