Hi, I'm Jason, a UK-native, TEFL-certified English instructor with over 13 years of experience. Since 2012, I have been living and teaching in Italy, specializing in Business English, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and exam preparation (Cambridge, IELTS, Pearson).
My professional focus combines academic methodology with practical, real-world application. While my teaching journey started with young learners, today I focus on adult professionals. Alongside teaching online, I design specialized corporate training—such as my course "Building Confidence in Speaking English in the Work Environment"—and advanced C1-level cultural curriculums for local academies.
I bring a highly unique perspective to my classes. Before teaching, I spent over six years as a Charge Nurse in the UK NHS, allowing me to expertly assist healthcare professionals with Medical English. I also ran a successful photography business in Italy for a decade!
While I primarily teach Italian speakers—my B2/C1 Italian helps me expertly adapt British English instruction to the Italian cultural context—I proudly welcome students from all over the world. Beyond the classroom, my interests span international literature, philosophy, and middle-distance running.
