Hello and welcome to my teacher profile, thank you for stopping by! After a long pause, I'm back on italki!
I'm James, an experienced, professional English teacher and I would like to think of myself as a friendly, patient and open-minded individual with a real passion for languages and culture.
I also work as a Transport/Urban Planner, and I also love to play chess in my free time.Moi en tant que professeur
I became qualified to teach English professionally back in 2015, and I genuinely enjoy teaching English, even when it's about grammar!
Helping you realise your goals and dreams is most rewarding for me, and there's the added bonus of meeting people from different walks of life from across the globe, learning so many interesting facts and perspectives on life whilst doing so.
Among other things, I have helped students pass the IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and Cambridge English exams, prepare for interviews and broadly speaking, improve their fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence. My lessons are tailored to your objectives and regardless of what you wish to cover, I'll strive to make it as interesting as possible and keep you motivated.
It could be preparing for an upcoming exam or interview, learning business English for your career, working on your pronunciation, improving your English writing, general conversation practice, learning about British culture or anything else. I aim to strike a balance between accuracy and fluency, depending on the context and of course your personal goals.
