Hello, my name is Erica! I am a native English teacher from New York State, USA. I've lived and taught English in the US, Argentina, Uruguay, Iraq and Nepal. I enjoy traveling and learning languages. I currently work as a full-time English faculty member at a university, focusing on English for academic purposes and writing, and in my spare time I love cooking and road trips! I have my masters in linguistics as well as various teaching certificates. I also have experience in co-managing an English institute and writing curriculum. I am comfortable teaching most levels and skills from informal conversation to academic English! If there are any specific or high-level skills you'd like to better, I'm your teacher! My lessons are flexible and tailored to what the student wants. We can just talk, or I can use real life, level-appropriate English materials to facilitate conversation or work on a specific skill. Erica is a great teacher, I can learn english and have fun with her at the same time. We talk about a large range of themes, she is very creative with the lessons and provides not only corrections, but also a lot of feedback that encourages me and increases my confidence. I already took 3 classes with her and I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm so happy with my progress in this few weeks that I started study one more language.

She is great! From the beginning she was correcting my pronunciation and writing down the words I told badly or I didn't know and explain me a phrase that is used in US, simply said she is a pro :-)
