She's awesome

I started taking classes with Marilyn a little over a year ago, and its easily the best step I've taken to further my Spanish learning journey. She keeps the conversation flowing comfortably, helps me when I'm lost or confused, and always makes me push my limits. She is well-traveled, knowledgeable, and incredibly good-natured. In my humble opinion, is the best on iTalki. Highly, highly recommended.

Great lesson with Marilyn! We talked about Easter in the US and Mexico. Marilyn had a few questions ready for discussion, such as "describe a time when you got bad news". Marilyn helps out if there is something I could say better or more naturally in Spanish. These questions are really good to keep the conversation moving!

Great lesson with Marilyn! We talked about a number of topics. Marilyn had prepared some questions about "my first time doing...". When I got stuck and wasn't sure how to say something in Spanish, Marilyn would help me out. She also asked questions about my experience. Marilyn is good to talk to - we had a lot of fun in the lesson!

Great lesson with Marilyn! We talked about different holidays in the US and in Mexico. We also talked about things that are legal and aren't legal, as well as eating habits and vegetarians. It was a fun discussion and I learned a lot about Mexican culture from Marilyn!

Great lesson with Marilyn! Marilyn prepared several role-playing scenarios to practice speaking and listening. These scenarios worked well. Marilyn added vocabulary words to help make the scenario more authentic, and offered very constructive feedback to improve my speaking!
