My name is Irene, I'm Italian, and I come from a city near Rome. I have lived abroad for many years (the UK, Lebanon, Denmark, and Germany) and learnt many languages. I can speak English and Spanish fluently, I have an intermediate level of Arabic, a basic level of Portuguese and French and I am currently learning German. I currently live in Berlin.

I am a certified teacher of Italian with several years of professional experience in teaching Italian to adults and children. I have helped many students to learn Italian, from absolute beginners to more advanced. I have also helped students prepare for the CELI/CILS exams and university admission.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

My lessons are focused on students' objectives and interests. Whatever your learning objectives and the reasons why you want to learn Italian, I will be helping achieve your goals. Especially, we will be focusing on the topics that interest you most. After the trial lesson or first lesson, I will prepare a teaching plan designed on your needs and expectations and based on the time that you can invest in learning the language. For each lesson, I will provide all the material that you will need. Lessons will be taught in Italian with the support of other languages (English or Spanish). N.B. If you have specific requests regarding the class scheduling please let me know.

Irene is a wonderful teacher, I cannot recommend her enough. She has great knowledge of Italian and multiple other languages. She is able to help me to improve my language skills with the right pace and she is flexible to adjust the course base on my needs. during the lessons we also talk about the cultural aspect of life in Italy so I am learning a lot besides the Italian language. Studying Italian and learning from her is fun and interesting. If you are looking for a native speaker, knowlgable, kind and flexible teacher with the professional skills; Irene could be your ideal teacher in your journey to learn Italian.
