Now, some details… I waited until I had 5 lessons with Maria before writing this review, so it could give you a more complete picture of what working with her is like. First, Maria is a truly amazing person! She is always full of energy and brings a day-brightening attitude to each lesson. The hour flies by — every time. In fact, while her iTalki video is good, it does not truly do justice to her energy and sense of humor. Maria is also a very effective teacher. Eugenia is a very perceptive instructor who can pick up on exactly what I'm having the hardest time with very quickly. I thoroughly enjoy her engaging manner and the various activities/games that help with those trouble spots.

I have been studying Spanish with Maria for over a year now and she has helped me so much. I appreciate her teaching methods and how she supports me. She gives me a lot of opportunity to speak and patiently corrects me. I always have lots of vocabulary to take away from each lesson, and she has progressively taken me through the core grammar. She has an endless variety of material and she always has homework for me. I couldn't recommend her enough; however, please don't book too many lessons because I want some left for me!
