NORIKO　(哲子　のりこ）

Having taken many lessons with Noriko-sensei, I am convinced that no one can carry a conversation better than she does. She does a wonderful job at correcting mistakes without interrupting, explaining things in such a way that is easy to understand, and compiling these mistakes into notes subsequent to lessons. There is not a chance I would have made the progress I have made up until now without her support. Noriko-sensei is someone who is truly devoted to her students and is a phenomenal Japanese teacher!

I highly recommend Noriko-sensei to students who are new to having conversations in Japanese. She is patient, encouraging, and will help you make sentences if you are really stuck. She will send you your mistakes in a separate document for you to review, as well as an audio recording that can be used as listening or shadowing practice. Noriko-sensei has a list of common and important conversation topics, and we are slowly working our way through it. This keeps conversation fresh and also encourages me to push my boundaries; when having conversation lessons, it can be easy to fall into the trap of talking about the same thing over and over again. Since we decide the topic a few days in advance, this gives me time to prepare a few sentences and related vocabulary. This was my first lesson with Noriko-San after many trials lessons with different teachers and I have to say that she is my favorite teacher so far ! She's dynamic, very smiling and speaks very clearly. very excited to have my next lesson with her 🌞

哲子先生 is a wonderful teacher. In class, she keeps me talking and gives me time to think when I need it. Her materials and plans give us topics for focus but leave plenty of room for me to try new grammar and words. When I make mistakes, she helps me clearly see where I made them and how to improve in ways that are encouraging and exciting. As a beginner, I still get nervous talking to people sometimes, but even in the first lesson I felt relaxed because she is very kind, polite, and encouraging. If you want to improve your Japanese skills, I highly recommend 哲子先生！

Today's class was so informative. Noriko san is very patiently listened to my speaking. take a note of words that I struggled and pronounced wrong. after class she sends me list of vocabulary which helps me lot to revise and practice. I'm so glad, happy and thankful to God for connecting me with this wonderful, beautiful Teacher.

One year ago, I had my first Japanese lesson with Noriko-sensei. I still have so much fun in our lessons and I feel like we never run out of things to talk about. Even though my conversation abilities are still limited, Noriko-sensei does a great job asking questions and prompting more Japanese out of me. I look forward to another year of study with Noriko-sensei, and I hope to have more fluid conversations with her. As always, thank you for your care, effort, and encouragement, Noriko-sensei!
