For example, Chinese uses specific tones for each word. And some people find them difficult to master. I completely understand this difficulty and will be patient in helping you to make progress. I also appreciate that memory can be a big problem in learning a new language. But don't worry! I feel that striving is more important than being perfect. I myself have been learning English since primary school, and it has been more than ten years now. I know very well how hard it is to learn a new language. I will try to see things from your point of view and will be very happy to give you all the time and patience you need. No one knows their own needs better than themselves. I will encourage you to tell me about your goals and learning styles, and I will adapt our lessons accordingly. I can write any corrections you need in Pinyin and Chinese characters. Before class, you can send me the materials you want to work on in class, or if you are not sure what to study, I can give you some recommendations. For example, I can send you PDFs of textbooks that will be suitable for you. 我的教学风格灵活多变，因为每一个学生都是完全不同的人，有着自己对于语言学习的期待，我希望自己做一个可以尊重学生需要的老师，所以大胆告诉我你希望我怎样配合你的课堂就好。

This is my 10th lesson with Laoshi, Xin Ran, and so far, she has been amazing in my journey of learning Mandarin. She provides clear feedback and methods on how to improve to sound more natural. Each lesson, we focus on one thing to improve, such as tones or pronunciation. She is always helpful and enthusiastic in teaching Mandarin.
