My first lesson with Ruggero was fantastic; it can be stressful to start language lessons but he immediately put me at ease. Ruggero is incredibly friendly and inquired about my goals and motivations for learning and how best to personalize my lessons. We completed the lesson almost exclusively in Italian, which I really appreciate as a method to provide full immersion and improve my learning. Highly recommend!

Cannot express how grateful I am to Ruggero for his patience and the insightful and fun way that he teaches. Went to Sicily recently and for the first time in my life I have been able to speak to my Italian relatives and make myself understood which was just the most incredible experience. Ruggero instils confidence and helps you to believe in yourself which is a very rare quality and a gift few teachers possess. Still a long way to go but so far the experience has been life changing and that only happens when you have a great teacher and one who really cares about his students.

My Italian lesson for singers and musicians with Ruggero was incredible. I already knew him as a "general" Italian teacher, but I had never considered studying Italian music with him — and I was missing out. The fact that he's not only a certified Italian teacher with years of experience but also a professional jazz singer makes all the difference: he works on pronunciation starting from the sound, the breath and the opening of the vowels, and explains Italian as if it were a musical instrument. We spent part of the lesson on "Nessun Dorma" and it was a revelation — not only the linguistic and phonetic side of the aria, but also the meaning of the text and how to interpret it. If you sing in Italian or love Italian music and opera, his course for singers and musicians is a real discovery. Highly recommended.
