I love to learn about new cultures and to discuss a wide range of topics. For example, careers, food, sports, music, hobbies, movies and tv shows, or anything else that students find interesting. I have taught kindergarten for 9 years. I have loved working with children since I was old enough to babysit, and I find it extremely rewarding to see my young students learn so much in just 10 months. I like to keep learning as fun as possible but I do have strict behavior expectations in class as well. I started tutoring on iTalki in August 2017, and my students range from 6 years old to grandparents, and I love talking to all of them!Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I cover all topics, but generally stick to discussing things that my students find interesting. I find that this is a good way to practice useful conversational English, and with repetition it becomes automatic! I also provide links to websites and videos that help me teach and I have even purchased textbooks if my students would rather use those.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I had an excellent experience in the conversation class with Lydia. She is very patient, and I appreciated how she helped me build confidence while speaking and corrected my mistakes in a kind and constructive way. She is also very friendly and pleasant, which made the class even more enjoyable. The session was dynamic, productive, and truly a pleasure. I highly recommend her. She is so sweet and helpful, and I can’t wait for the next class to talk to her again.
