Hello, my name is Shinae. I'm pleased to meet you! From your first days with Korean, learning the alphabet and the sounds, I can help you build the Korean language skills to get by and thrive. For more advanced speakers we can work on understanding songs, Korean for business and building more complex sentences. Take a look at each of the class types I offer to see the kind of things my students usually learn! I hope this can be a place for cultural exchanges on various topics and to discover interesting things about Korea.

I've been a full time, online Korean teacher and tutor since the end of 2021. I'm happy to teach in English or Korean, whatever helps you to achieve your goals faster!
In 2013 I spent the year teaching Korean to Russian / Korean children, it was a great experience and I really enjoy working with both kids and adults.

I’ve been learning Korean with this teacher for a long time, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. From the very beginning, the lessons have been both fun and effective. The teacher explains everything clearly and always makes sure I truly understand before moving on.
What I love most is how personalized each lesson feels — she always adjusts the pace and materials to fit my level and goals. Thanks to this approach, my speaking skills have improved so much! I used to be nervous about talking in Korean, but now I can speak more naturally and confidently.

I have been working with Shinae for a couple of weeks now. She is helping me improve my reading as that is the first thing I wanted to work on. She's very patient and the lessons she chooses and homework (just right amount) are helping me a lot.

I’ve been taking Korean lessons with this teacher for a long time, and they’re truly amazing! Thanks to her, my Korean has improved a lot — especially my speaking skills. With every lesson, I feel more confident and natural when I speak, which was my main goal from the start.
