I am a native English speaker from Ipswich in the South East of England, currently living in a town called Darlington, in the North East of England. I love sports (especially sailing and running). I am very interested in science and nature (I studied biology at university and now work as an environmental scientist). I am also a big fan of languages, travel and meeting people from other cultures.

I have taught English since 2014, and have taught on Italki since 2019. I spent three months volunteering as an English teacher in Costa Rica and three summers in Italy working on an English immersion camp (where children aged 8-14 came to learn English through sports, drama and art). I also spent 7 months working as an au pair in France and Italy, and teaching English to the families I lived with.

•English for beginners: covers basic vocabulary and grammar. Only suitable for French, Italian or Spanish speakers.
•Improve your English: for intermediate/advanced students who want tailored, structured lessons covering grammar, vocab and speaking, with pre-prepared materials.
•Pronunciation masterclass - for students who want to sound more like a native speaker.
•English for science - for those learning English for academic purposes.
•British culture - learn about life in the UK.
