I’m Ilaria, and I have been working as an Italian teacher for foreigners since 2017. I run a blog (www.ilazed.com) and podcasts about the Italian language. My teaching method is student-focused: I first ask my students why they want to learn Italian and what goals they want to achieve. After that, we start practicing, depending on your level and needs, focusing on grammar, pronunciation, conversation, explanations of your questions and doubts, idioms, and more. At the beginning of each lesson, I also ask if there are any questions from previous classes or about something you have heard or seen. I love my job, and I’ll guide you through the challenge of learning Italian. My teaching method is focused on the students, and during the first lesson, I ask my students why they want to learn Italian and the goals they want to reach. At the beginning of each lesson, I'll ask the students if they have any questions from the previous classes or about something they have listened to or seen; only after that we'll start the new lesson! I am a supportive person, and I will constantly be there to guide you during the challenge of learning a foreign language! During the class, according to your level and your needs, we will focus on: - grammar, - pronunciation, - conversation, - explanations of your questions and doubts, - the most common Italian idioms and expressions.

Ilaria is such a nice person, you can talk with her about literally ANYTHING! She knows a lot about italian culture and history and manages to explain even complicated grammar in an easy way. Oh and also, she constantly(!!!) makes you feel awesome about your Italian, which is very motivating :)

Ilaria e' una tutor fantastica. Sono sempre entusiasta di studiare. She has a plan of action before every class. I am a beginner and make molti mistakes, ma lei non mai makes me feel like I can't learn. She provides feedback on homework and is sempre present in le classe. Grazie Mille, Ilaria!

Ilaria is an incredible teacher! She always encourages me and helps so much with my pronunciation. She gives me the confidence to practice and speak freely without ever knocking me down.
