I’m an English teacher with a clear, neutral British accent and nearly 20 years of experience. I genuinely love what I do, and that energy comes into every lesson. I work with professionals and motivated learners who want to feel more confident and natural when speaking English. Our classes are relaxed but focused, with plenty of real conversation and useful feedback. During lessons, I’ll gently correct you and keep a record of key errors so you can review them later. I’m detail-oriented, which means you’ll make steady, noticeable progress. Pronunciation is one of my main areas of focus. We’ll work on sounds, rhythm, and intonation to help you sound clearer and more natural. I’ll also give you personalised recordings so you can continue practising between lessons. I firmly believe imitation is key to improving your accent, and I’ll show you exactly how to use it effectively. I also support medical professionals through realistic role plays and workplace scenarios, helping you communicate clearly and confidently at work. I also take time to understand your native language, so I can explain mistakes more clearly and help you improve faster. Every lesson is tailored to you, but you can expect a mix of conversation, grammar focus, and practical guidance. Please note: 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes.

Carolina is an exceptional teacher & an amazing person. And I really mean it. She easily spots things her students struggle with. I can’t recommend Carolina enough as an English teacher. As a fellow language teacher with high standards, I’ve met and tried a lot of teachers, but she is something special. Our lessons feel like having a coffee chat with a friend — we have so much in common and always find something fun to talk about. She’s super organized and always comes prepared, but it’s her engaging, hands-on approach that really makes learning stick. Plus, she’s just a great person to spend time with.
