Had a great first lesson with Gen Ueda. He does a great job of discussing your language needs and goals to create a language learning “game plan” to fit your needs—which for me is “travel” Japanese. Gen is fluent in Japanese & English and explains language nuances and grammar very well. I’d recommend him to other English-speaking Japanese learners. I plan to schedule future Japanese lessons with him.

This was my first ever Japanese conversation. Gen was very patient and kept the conversation interesting while giving valuable feedback. His English is top notch, and he can explain clearly in English as needed. I'm very happy to have found a long-term Japanese tutor.

Gen was very kind and patient in explaining everything. He also understands the struggle of learning a language and he guides in handling the challenges.

I had my first lesson with Gen today, and I enjoyed it a lot! We started with brief self-introductions and then discussed some of my learning goals.
Overall, he was understanding of my current Japanese level, and I could easily follow all his feedback during our speaking practice. I'm looking forward to our future lessons!
