I have worked as a translator for many years in Argentina. I was decided to start a new path in Australia, and I knew it would work. And it did! I exclusively work as a Spanish tutor. I deliver one-on-one classes, and I also teach Spanish to children at a Language School. I have always felt motivated to teach. As a Spanish as a Second Language Teacher and a Translator, I am able to understand specific issues that my students may encounter when trying to compare their mother tongue with the language they learn. I have three university degrees: two of them correspond to translation studies (I am a sworn, technical-scientific and literary translator) and the third one is Spanish Teacher.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My teaching methodology is based on the Communicative Method and the Lexical approach. After experiencing, reading and studying several methods of teaching, I am convinced that students find it more difficult to find the exact words they need to use in a certain context, rather than the correct use of grammar. Personally, I focus on how students can easily communicate, and this is directly related to conversation and vocabulary. The main purpose is to communicate ideas, to find the way to convey a meaning. Fernanda is an excellent instructor. Her lessons are very engaging. She makes learning fun and stress free because you feel as if you are speaking to a friend. She is very organized, and it is obvious she is passionate about her student’s learning experience. She always takes time throughout the lesson to ensure her explanations are clear before progressing with the lesson. I enjoy our lessons and always look forward to them during the week. I’m exciting to continue learning with Fernanda!
