Nadear

I'm very, very happy with the progress I've made studying with Khru Nadear. I have been studying with her for several months. When we started, I told her that my main goal was to improve my listening comprehension. This past week, when I was doing my homework, I realized exactly how much it has improved. My homework includes 10-15 MP3 files which I listen to , write (that's a difficult process) in Thai and translate to English. Until this weekend, I always did the translation to English from the written Thai because my brain did the translation slowly and reading is easier than listening. However, for this weeks homework, it was much faster and easier to do the translation from Nadears spoken Thai. This was a milesone and a huge confidence boost. All the conversations in class, learning new vocabulary and practicing pronunciation have paid off. I can't say Nadear is the best Thai teacher on Italki but I can say she has been an excellent teacher for me. I recommend her highly.

This was a very good lesson with a very good teacher. I've been learning Thai on and off over the years and always needed to get a better grasp on how to pronounce the letters with the correct tone. Although I could read everything, I always had an issue with that. Kruu has helped me today fix this problem. I definitely look forward to learning more with her. Thanks a lot!
