I have a real passion for this job - one of the reasons I have been doing it for over ten years. I believe my teaching style relies on giving the student the confidence to realise they can open the doors themselves. I strongly believe that the key to helping students is to give them the confidence, rather than just explaining how things work. I believe a strong personality and a good sense of humour is key to any lesson, and I love to have a good rapport with all my students. I have completed over 120 English lessons with Carl and the experience has been excellent. Our lessons are highly conversational, covering a wide range of topics, which makes learning both engaging and practical.

I have been having English lessons with Carl for more than a year on a regular weekly basis.
I am extremely satisfied with his methods. Most of the time, half of the lesson consists of an interesting talk about various topics, including British culture, different accents, comedy, films, and travel. He always corrects or suggests a better alternative in order to sound better.
Another half of the lesson is doing real tests together - his input is very helpful. He always explains right away if something is needed. Most importantly, we also had a few lessons related to phonetics and accents. It was very interesting to know how native speakers speak and what sounds are produced in their regular speech.
I can recommend Carl to every English learner. He is a professional teacher with tremendous experience in helping to improve English on every level.

I´ve been taking classes with Carl for a while now. I´m happy with my classes. Very reliable - always on time. Wide range of knowledge . And he has a lot of patience and calm and relaxed vibe - which I really really need from a teacher. And it´s great fun! Thanks ! I´ve already learned a lot.
