I'm 41 years old. I'm currently living in Japan with my wife. I've worked in IT for many years, but since I moved to Japan I wanted to try something new. I've always enjoyed teaching and explaining things, and I'm very interested in languages so I thought this could be a fun mix for me.

I've had different Japanese teachers on Italki, and I want to bring some of the things I like about them in to my own lessons. I think it's important to be friendly, patient and encouraging but also make sure to correct bad habits and be honest. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My style is more casual, rather than a classroom-feel. Like I said in my video introduction, I don't believe the classroom-approach is the right way to learn a language. That's why I want to go for a more natural approach and I want you to feel like you're having a normal conversation with a Swedish person.
Of course I will teach you new stuff, and correct you when you get something wrong. However, I will look for patterns and bad habits, rather than constantly interrupt you when we speak.
Getting too much feedback at once is not very helpful.Formation
