Hi! My name is Serena, and I'm really looking forward to working with you on iTalki, and seeing your language skills improve! I enjoy hiking in the summer and alpine skiing in the winter. I always love to read a good book and am always open to suggestions! One of my passions is learning languages. I hold a Master's of Arts in Chinese & Pedagogy at Middlebury College. I teach Mandarin Chinese at a U.S. based high school, and also teach Mandarin and English online. As someone who's learned Chinese to fluency myself, I know first-hand the tricks it takes to learning a foreign language efficiently and effectively. I like having class with Teacher Serena. This is my third class with Teacher Serena. We are currently using a news app to learn. After class, the teacher sends me homework. Serena S. is an excellent teacher and her lesson was challenging, interesting and enjoyable. During the lesson she introduced me to a plethora of new vocabulary, and phrases, and corrected my enunciation of certain words when needed. Furthermore, she discussed a wide range of topics which gave me the chance to expand upon my vocabulary. 谢谢老师！
