Daniel is a great teacher! He pays a lot of attention to the learning process and uses everyday situations as scenarios for learning. Not only you can learn the language from him, but during conversation practice you will probably get to know a few things about the casual brazilian life culture. Very good teacher overall!

I had very specific phrases that I wanted to practice and sent to Daniel ahead of time. He prepared a pdf with the phrases in English, Portuguese and with phonetic pronunciation. Extremely helpful. I will refer to this document, and what I learned in this session, throughout my travels!

My first lesson with Daniel went well as he allowed me to feel confident in my future with the language. Having a decent grasp of Spanish is helpful so we will work on pronunciation and the uniqueness of Portuguese going forward. We were describing photos and then taking it one step further and using those phrases to not just describe what was in the photos, but to apply them to things you like to do in your life so that the explanations were personalised. Daniel is helping me be MUCH more confident, so that when I travel I will not hesitate to use my "pouco da linga" Portuguese on my upcoming trip. He is a master of both English and Portuguese. He is very helpful in helping with ALL the pronunciation issues that I have had with transitioning from Spanish into Portuguese. It has been fun learning. He has a plan for each class and uses the technology extremely well. His pricing is MUCH LOWER than what I think he should be charging given his expertise - shh don't tell him though ;-) He's patient even though a can not for the life of me get some words pronounced correctly more than 3 times in a row then I forget again and then he reminds me. He complements successes and isn't negative with my fumbles.
