Hey Family!
My name is Giselle or Gita and I am a young lady currently living in South Africa. I have studied photography, sound engineering and fine art, religion and anthropology (as electives), and am quite the creative! I am also a Hatha yoga teacher so have quite a bit of knowledge on health, psychology, wellness, vegan and vegetarian cooking, spirituality and philosophy. I am generally very peaceful and warm, compassionate, thoughtful, and quite well-cultured. I am a people-person and get along with almost anyone and am quite adaptable.
I absolutely love travelling and meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and getting to know new things. I love higher thinking and nature!Moi en tant que professeur
So this kind of ties in with the 'about me' section, I have experience teaching yoga to adults , university students and young children and have taught English to adults and children. I teach yoga philosophy and mantra meditation in uni. I am a writer and editor for the past few years. I recently completed my TEFL course and am ready to start meeting new people and getting some teaching experience! In general, I have always been a strong academic performer and received really strong results with a 93% average - so I am quite excited to get teaching and am hopefully going to be a fun, helpful and compassionate teacher!Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My lessons will be loosely pre-planned, to cover and work through a specific element of the English Language. We can start with the basics, such as grammar and pronunciation, then move into more conversational elements as lessons progress naturally - only moving forward when the student is comfortable and has sufficient skill in that particular arena.
I will mostly focus on speaking and listening, but if you would like to do reading, writing or grammar, we can too. I will ensure that you get loads of opportunity to practice speaking and not do all the talking myself. My methods are conversational, funny and relatable.
