Hi, my name is Ryan, I was born and raised in London. I am TEFL & IELTS qualified. I specialise in IELTS preparation, Business English, Conversation, Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading & Writing with over 4,000 hours and 7+ years of online teaching experience. I currently work for an IoT and Electronic Security company, managing a regional commercial department.

I qualified to teach English in 2018 and as a learner myself, I know that language acquisition is extremely difficult, therefore I totally understand how hard it is to learn a new language especially when sometimes things don't quite 'click and fall into place'. We are going to work together as a TEAM to achieve your goals.
As a teacher, I am fun, reliable, respectful and creative. I often work with students preparing for IELTS most of whom need a 6.5 or above and so far, all of my students have achieved band 7 or above.

The first lesson is usually for us to get to know each as well as understand your goals, strengths and weaknesses. Lessons can be relaxed or specific. We can focus on a particular topic, learn new phrases, new words, grammar or vocabulary. It's up to you. You can choose exactly how you would like to learn with me. We can also utilise a range of materials such as music, news articles, presentations, audios, series and videos.
We will decide together the best way for you to learn and tailor a plan to suit your needs.
At the end of each lesson I can provide feedback in order to help you improve. I aim to make lessons fun and interesting but most importantly, talk about subjects you enjoy.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Ryan is an amazing teacher! He sent me a video to bring up a conversation about a current topic and asked me about the words I associated with it. Starting from my knowledge, he introduced me to some new words and idioms and challenged me to use them in our conversation. At the end, we fixed some mistakes both about my grammar and pronunciation :) Thanks!!

Ryan es un gran profesor. Se entiende todo a la perfección. Era la primera vez que tomaba una clase de inglés, por lo que mi nivel es bastante bajo, pero el me ha hecho entender todo. He encontrado el profesor perfecto.

This is my fourth lesson with Ryan and I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed all the lessons with him. He comes up with interesting topics and it is always easier to have conversations with him. I am constantly trying to improve my confidence level in English and the conversations with him have so far produced great results. And not to mention, he helped me score 7.5 bands in the IELTS exam.
