I am originally from Poland but I like to think of myself as a citizen of the world! When I was 18 years old I moved to Scotland to start my legal studies. I am a very opened minded and sociable person. I enjoy travelling, exploring new cultures and being active. I am currently preparing myself for my first trip to Latin America. I am passionate about learning new languages and expanding my horizons. I graduated from English Law a few years ago and now work in immigration law.Moi en tant que professeur
I have taught English and Polish for many years while I was studying abroad. I have experience in organising lessons for very young students as well as for mature persons. I do believe that the key to success in learning languages is to tailor the lessons to the needs of a particular student. Lessons should be enjoyable, relaxing and creative. I am about to start my PhD in the area of environmental law in October and I must to admit that teaching is my passion!Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My lessons are primarily based on conversations. However, I am happy to provide you with more theoretical lessons which would involve going through various grammar rules. We can discuss a variety of topics, I can send you links to articles, songs and documents which we could use in our lessons. I will encourage you to talk freely on any topic of your interest but also to write short pieces of work in order to improve your writing skills. Given that learning languages is based on repetition and practice I would like to see you spending some of your free time to perfect your linguistic skills.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I've been learning with Jacob for about half a year, and he is a fantastic teacher. very helpful, polite, and interactive. always gives back feedback if your pronunciation is wrong, explains stuff very well (e.g. Polish cases, conjugation etc) and has been a huge help on my Polish learning adventure, would recommend 100% 😊

The lesson with Jacob was great, I can't complain! He was very attentive, kind and helpful. He was very concerned about making the lesson comfortable and productive and I really appreciated that (because my polish isn't really good to be honest). I recommend it.
