I’ve taught at universities, private schools and online. My students are from all around the world and my absolute favourite thing about my job is that I get to meet fascinating people and help them achieve their language goals. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually at university because I’m studying a second undergraduate degree in Biological Anthropology. I love studying so much and this experience is even more enriching because I do it in my second language (Spanish). I also create English learning content on social media so I spend a lot of time making video scripts, editing and filming too. I make videos about language learning and how to learn English. And then, when I can’t stare at a computer screen any longer, I like to get outside, ride my bike and discover new parts of the city.

it’s been a year with Alison. My experience: She is the best online teacher I feel lucky to know her. She prepares the lesson very well and knows your weak points and tries to fix them. For example, if she finds you making a mistake in something over and over again. She will alert you to it and asks you if you want to focus on it next lesson to prevent stumbling into the same mistake again.
Her lessons are always full of new vocabulary and phrases. I feel like I'm making progress with every lesson.
If you are interested in accents especially in the Uk. she will give you a full explanation of the accents and will explain how to pronounce them.
She will give you feedback if you have any pronunciation or grammar mistakes and will even tell you how to say the sentence or word more beautifully and eloquently. She is very flexible and always tries to give you all possible solutions to make your language more fluent.
