I worked intensively for 4 months with Rihoさん from 0 to prepare for a trip in Japan. Needless to say she played a huge part in helping me achieve a functional conversational level in an incredibly short amount of time. She is a positive spirit, encouraging, fun, friendly, patient, and flexible, everything you could want in a 日本語先生！Thank you so much Rihoさん！！！

This was my first time ever speaking Japanese, so I was very nervous! During our trial lesson, Riho San was so patient with me, and she was very helpful in correcting my speaking mistakes and very encouraging too! She spoke clearly and didn't mind repeating herself or explaining if I didn't understand. I definitely recommend her as a tutor and I'm looking forward to more lessons. I know I will be much more prepared and less nervous next time. :)

For over 3 years, Riho has helped me improve every aspect of my Japanese. She is very flexible and willing to help with anything, from speaking practice to grammar explanations, explanations of Japanese culture, and correcting my writing. She shows up to every lesson full of energy and is just as excited to teach as I am to learn!

The best nihongo teacher ever!

I've been taking lessons with Riho Sensei for almost 2 years now. Throughout the lessons, she has been really great with adjusting the materials and learning methods according to my level and goals. Right now I'm planning a trip to Japan so she's shifted the lessons to be more conversationally-focused which has been helping a ton. I really can't recommend her enough!
