I’m a friendly English teacher from London, now based in Italy, with seven years’ experience preparing students for Cambridge exams. As a certified Cambridge Speaking Examiner, I help teenagers and children succeed in FCE, PET, Key, and Young Learners exams. My own love for languages—speaking French, German, Dutch, and Italian—means I understand the challenges and joys of learning. I’m passionate about guiding students to reach their goals and discover their confidence in English.
As a teacher I am positive, encouraging and dedicated. I am thorough in my approach, whilst still ensuring my lessons feel light and approachable. At my school, I am a popular teacher not just for my outgoing personality but primarily for the results and progress that my students achieve under my guidance. My lessons are fun and friendly, and leave my students with a motivated attitude. I love the 'eureka' moments in my students when they fully grasp a concept we have been working on, but above all I enjoy the two-way interaction and the moments shared. Communication is key - and I am a confident and able communicator.
My lessons focus on the individual needs of the students, and are tailored around a communicative approach. Grammar is also taught using a communicative approach in which I convey and check understanding through a variety of methods. In conversation classes, I make use of lots of resources including current and relevant video clips and news articles, or I incorporate projects or game...Mes ressources d'enseignement

CV showing I have worked with kids since 2018 - British School Group - 2024I have been teaching in person in schools with young kids and teens since 2018, in Italy Bologna. Including British School Group (where the kids were aged 5 and above). I have also taught since 2020 on italki and had great feedback as a teacher of kids. Last year, I worked at Apple Tree English for one year, with children aged 8-9.
