I have been studying with Abdulsamad for over a year now, and my Arabic has improved immensely under his instruction! I went from barely being able to speak sentences, to being able to have full conversations in Arabic about many different complex topics. He is an amazing teacher with a very effective teaching methodology that adapts exactly to your level and helps you progress quickly.

Just finished Book 4 of Speaking/Listening with Abdulsamad. Almost 2 year anniversary of working with him on Arabic! Still love every lesson. He has the system for serious Arabic learners and will support you at each step of the way. Here's to more ahead!

I’ve tried maybe 10 Arabic teachers on italki, and Abdulsamad is on a different level. His books are genius!

I've been studying with Abdulsamad for almost a year & it still feels like just the beginning. He's a supportive, patient & highly effective teacher. Reconnecting with my language & becoming more fluent beyond the village dialect I grew up with is deeply important to my identity, heritage & life.
After having limited formal education in Arabic, I felt embarrassed & ashamed of my level. I tried to teach myself in adulthood — even completing Duolingo — but realised I needed structure & proper guidance. I know many Arabs in the diaspora experience this, so I’m grateful I started this journey.
Thanks to him, I’ve been improving & feel confident that I will continue to grow over time. Having a teacher who's patient, understanding, kind, & non-judgmental is important when learning a language, especially when it's personal. He embodies all of these qualities. He's also creative with his methods, making lessons engaging & enjoyable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn Arabic.
