I have been a language teacher for more than 25 years, I love to meet people from around the globe and show a bit of my culture. I was born and raised in Mexico, but moved to Canada and lived in Toronto for five years. Not only that, but I enjoy travelling and discover this wonderful world. Furthermore, I have visited almost all of my country, Mexico, and also I have been to distant places like China, Thailand, Dubai, India, Australia, Costa Rica Europe, Cuba, USA and Canada.

I am an experienced English & Spanish teacher. I am passionate about helping people to understand and communicate in Spanish.
I personalize the program to your needs and special requirements. Likewise, I like to use real-life materials and examples and guide you into lots of practice. I focus on drills and examples, then conversation, listening skills and then writing.
I have extensive experience working as a Certified Accountant in large corporations, and I have taught Spanish to business executives from different nationalities. Yolanda is speaks very clearly and corrects you when it is appropriate to do so. She encourages you to speak and to enjoy the lesson. I found her style to be relaxed. She is informed; she knows a great amount about language acquisition and she is easy to speak to. I encourage potential students to take a class with her.
