Hi there! Bonjour à tous! 안녕하세요! This is 小包老师!
I’ve been a language tutor here for 4 years because it’s a fascinating and enchanting experience chatting with nice and warmhearted students from all over the world, learning from their unique perspectives directly derived from their life experience while helping them improve at a steady pace!
I’m voracious for new knowledge and skills, (which is why I gave myself a drag name starting with Vrcious.) My priorities now are French and Korean learning,
character design drawing practice, computer science and video making as a content creator. (By the way, of course I enjoy binge-watching tv series and doomscrolling from time to time.)
Moi en tant que professeur
What brought me here? Well, I'm a man who likes to give answers. I have an achievement of around 100 answers, on an APP for Q&A called HiNative where you can find a most native answer that you cannot find elsewhere and where I've not been a member so long.
Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
When a problem is encountered, e.g. a word comparison needed, I'll solve it from macroscopic to microscopic in an agreeable and desirable way.
Here's one example:
Q: What's the difference between 笑话 and 开玩笑?
A: “笑话”和“开玩笑”皆可用作动词或动词词组。“笑话”指不怀好意地“开玩笑”,是冒犯到他人的“开玩笑”。可以等同于英语中的 make fun of.
“笑话”还可以作为名词使用,意味
1.使人发笑的话题
e.g. 给你讲个笑话~ —— I’m telling you a joke.
2.被嘲笑的人
e.g. 他们拿我当全公司的笑话。——They treat me as a clown in the whole company.
As you can see above, patience is the last thing that I may be in dearth of.
I like literature and new-ins, which means I may be either serious or casual. It's up to you.

Xiao Bao has been great. He's incredibly cool and calm - even on the days that my boys are not having their best days. He has become a part of our family during our morning routine before school. Thank you for persevering with us!
