Hello everyone! My name is Elena. I live in Russia, in the Urals, and teach Russian as a foreign language. I enjoy gardening, cycling, and learning English. I consider myself an open and patient teacher with a good sense of humor. I am very demanding of myself as a teacher. I always carefully select the material for the upcoming lesson and take seriously the development of homework for the student, as well as feedback. I give structured lessons for both beginners and advanced students. I prefer to use a communicative approach to teaching, focusing on developing speaking and listening skills. Today’s Russian class was truly rewarding. My teacher spoke entirely in Russian, immersing me in the language. Using PowerPoint, she helped me review key points. This approach greatly improved my listening and comprehension skills. I’m excited for more!

I feel good to be able to use the vocabulary I have learned, and with the teacher's patient explanation and guidance, I will respond more actively. Through diversified learning such as listening to recordings, topic discussions and article reading, every class is never boring.

The teacher is really passionate about teaching. She works hard to improve my pronunciation, and this encouragement also give me more motivation to learn actively. Of course, I also hope that I can speak Russian better and more fluently. Now I am going to review the lesson materials and I hope more people will learn Russian with the teacher.
