Hey, I'm Matt and I'm from London, UK. I studied Marine Biology at university and graduated in 2018. I then spent a year teaching English in China to adults at a private school. In 2020 I came back to the UK and have recently finished my Masters degree in Computer Science. I currently work as a software developer remotely from London. I'm interested in Chinese language, Software Engineering, hiking, camping and 20th Century history. I'm currently watching the TV series Ozark! I'm currently reading Operation Pedestal by Max Hastings. I have a CELTA English teaching qualification. I have experience teaching adults from all age ranges using a variety of different techniques. I believe that speaking more is the best way for you to improve your confidence and your speaking and listening skills. I will always give you an opportunity to speak in my class. I'm friendly and easy-going so I'm sure that we will have some great conversations! I offer conversational English classes where we can talk about anything you like. If you have some topics to discuss then we can use them and if you don't then I can provide some topics. I will also help you with any mistakes that you make at the end of the lesson and give you some suggestions about how to further improve your English.

I enjoyed to the lesson with Matt, he asked me some questions which can help me to speak more, also he corrected me some grammar too. He has a lot of materials to help me to improve my English. He is a great teacher.

Matt is a conscientious and patient teacher.He'll encourage you to talk more and always can find topics to attract you.You never feel tedious.What's more you can get a feedback in the end of class.In conclusion,you can practise and learn a lot.

Matt's professionalism and expertise were exceptional. He had a remarkable ability to explain and clarify vocabulary, phrases, and grammar.
