Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Gayane, I am a native speaker of Russian, born in Armenian-Russian family, lived more that 30 years in Moscow, and now living in Slovakia.
All my professional life is connected with the Russian language. I earned my Master's degree in journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Have worked as a journalist, sub-editor and screenwriter.
Finally, as a documentary filmmaker, I explored Russia in its most remote corners. My path to teaching Russian began with filming expeditions around the country with my foreign colleagues, where in addition to filming, I was lucky to be their guide to the world of Russian culture, traditions, and Russian language.Moi en tant que professeur
In 2021 I graduated from the course at Moscow State University, having received the qualification of a professional teacher of Russian as a foreign language.
I am constantly improving my skills to be able to offer you the best on our lessons. Besides the main courses, I offer specialised lessons of Russian for Business (in any industry) and for media professionals. So if you are an entrepreneur, manager, media producer, marketing specialist, journalist or content maker, and need Russian for your work, want to improve your communication skills and feel confident in a new cultural environment, I'll be happy to help to you. I want you to feel comfortable in my classes, at the same time I do my best to help you to succeed, and not only memorize but to feel the language and understand its logic.
I work with students of any skill level and any age.
We will cover all aspects of language learning, but first of all my lessons are communicative, with a focus on practice.

I couldn't have hoped for a better tutor than Gayane. She brings such warmth, kindness and wisdom to every lesson. After each conversation with her I am inspired to learn more, work harder and book another lesson. She is very flexible and adapts to the needs of her students, always ready to focus on whatever aspect of language they find most helpful. She also has an amazing personal story and work history which has helped me as I grow into a new career. Gayane is a really brilliant teacher! She assesses your level and conducts lessons/material/homework accordingly. It's great to get some informal and realistic conversational practise as well as working on grammar and listening. I really recommend Gayane!

Gayane is a really great teacher! Very friendly and patient, positive (that’s important to me) and the same time highly professional, she explains the subject really well and uses a variety of materials she selects specifically for your needs. I would say she definitely knows how to teach. Great and inspiring experience, thank you Gayane, looking forward to our further lessons. Best recommendations!
