I had an outstanding first class with Cristina. She is clearly passionate about and skilled at teaching Spanish as a foreign language. As Cristina is new to Italki, I'd like to point out three specific things she did that I appreciated. First, she sent me a message soon after I booked the lesson to find out more about my interests, goals, and skill level, and then followed up with a text for me to read in advance that was interesting and challenging in just the right ways. Second, during class she asked me questions designed to help me consolidate new vocabulary and structures, which also helped us quickly home in on the areas where I needed the most work. Third, she not only provided constructive oral feedback during the class, but followed up immediately afterwards with written feedback and explanations. I appreciate the thought, skill, and dedication it takes to do these things well and to do them in such a fun and engaging way. ¡Gracias a ti, Cristina, por una clase fenomenal!

Excellente lección con Cristina! Ella esta muy bien preparada. En esta clase, hemos practicado el uso del imperfecto de subjuntivo con el condicional. Ademas, después de la clase me ha enviado las correcciones de los errores que he cometido durante nuestra lección. Creo que mi español va a mejorar mucho con su ayuda :)

I am so happy to have Cristina as a teacher. I just had my first lesson with her and she was very well prepared and I really enjoyed her class. I know my spanish will quickly improve, she is an excellent teacher and I highly reccomend her. I am booking my next one right away. :)

Cristina is an amazing Spanish teacher. After several trial lessons with different tutors, I knew she was the right fit for me. I like her methodology and personality. On top of that, her exceptionally high student retention rate speaks volumes about her teaching, and I completely understand why so many students continue learning with her.
