My name is Aileen. I am a teacher by profession with over 15 years of experience teaching English, Filipino, and Japanese. I have completed my Bachelor's Degree in English with high academic distinction at the University of Baguio. I am also a licensed professional teacher, civil service eligible, TEFL certified, and an active advocate of education and health in my home country. My post graduate degree in English is still on-going but I am expected to finish in 2026. When I’m not in pursuit of career and academic improvement, I explore languages through travel, food, and films—passions I weave into lessons to make learning vibrant. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all method for learning a second language effectively. This allows me to tailor my teaching approach to best support their growth. I draw from a wide range of methods and strategies I’ve gained through my academic training and years of teaching experience.
