I am improving my speaking skills a lot with her help. Everything is explained really well in detail.

I love this new offering of a creative writing class! Shabnam shared a photo of an antique store with me, and then we took turns making up short stories about about the items in the store. The stories we created were funny and cute, and then we practiced making the sentences more formal/literary. It's a very good (and enjoyable) way to practice writing skills. I definitely recommend that other students give this type of class a try!

Beyond the classroom, she has always been approachable and supportive. I am grateful for the positive influence she have had on my education, and I strongly recommend her as a teacher who changes lives for the better. It is rare to find a teacher who combines both excellent teaching skills and such kindness.

I have been lucky enough to have two fantastic lessons in a row with Shbnam, These were educational, interesting and great fun.
WE started with simple verbs and then built sentences: I had, I listen, building up to I read political stories, I listen to podcasts etc. Building sentences this way gives you both structure and confidence because there is always one part that is familiar.
In our subsequent lesson, I shared the national anthem of Pakistan, which is essentially in Persian/Farsi and we did Iran's as well.
Both lessons finished far too early, with a longing for more.
