Highly recommended! Naoto-sensei is great at explaining complex concepts in simple terms. He corrects my mistakes and answers my questions in ways that are easy to understand and learn from. After each lesson, he provides me with a list of new and forgotten vocabulary for me to study, and I've learned countless new words and grammar points as a result. I've also been able to fix numerous bad habits with his help as well. Naoto-sensei is passionate about what he does, and that shows through in both his YouTube videos and his lessons. His teaching style is flexible, and early on, he kindly granted my request to help me understand Japanese dialogue in my favorite video game. Ever since then, our lessons have been primarily a mix of conversation practice and him watching / helping me read text from the Persona series games. This has been a fun way to improve my Japanese, reach my goals, and learn things you won't find in textbooks.

Another fun session with Naoto-Sensei! He is very easy to talk even if you are a beginner, like me. I recently discovered Naoto-Sensei's YouTube channel where he uses manga to teach new words, phrases, and concepts. These videos are extremely helpful and very well done! This lesson was great. Naoto sensei has been creating youtube videos using mango to help Japanese learners build vocabulary, grammar and to understand expressions used in everyday spoken Japanese. We used followed one of his videos and used all of the dialogue scripted out to read and study. It was very productive and I'm looking forward to more lessons like this.
