I am an English tutor from England, currently living in Australia. I have lived in Hong Kong and South Korea.
My hobbies include creative writing, reading fantasy novels, learning languages and discussing various topics like history and philosophy.Moi en tant que professeur
I have a degree in English and Creative Writing and a TEFL certificate. I have been teaching English for the past four years in Hong Kong, South Korea and online, teaching children as young as three and adults. Some of my younger students have gone from learning their alphabet, to reading, and on-wards to writing full sentences. I have prepared students for school interviews in Hong Kong and for Trinity (oral) exams. I teach in English to create a fully immersive environment, especially for children. For young learners, we will focus on the basics and have fun while learning. For older children, we will do reading comprehensions and writing/speaking activities.
The English Basics course involves guided conversational practice.
For intermediate and advanced learners, we can work on your conversational, writing, reading and listening skills with activities based on your preferences and interests (storytelling is an option). I really enjoyed my first lesson with Tony. She suggested that I write some texts, and at first I was not even sure that I could write them without thinking about the topics for several days, but I did it :)
