Certified by the Alliance Française in 2019, I have been working as a French teacher in a middle school and at a French language school in Ukraine for the last two years to both individual students and groups.
Before that, I was a teacher of History and Geography in Ecole Française of Tashkent, Uzbekistan to all classes from 11 to 18 years old.
My teaching practices are based on creating positive energy and a pleasant classroom environment.
I specialise in phonetics because I know students want to improve their pronunciation.
I want my students to feel supported throughout the language learning process :)

✅ I incorporate task-based learning to my methodology, so that students can learn to confidently carry out daily activities, like order a coffee, buy a train ticket or ask a stranger for directions
✅ We will use various methods to improve grammar, conjugation and vocabulary with fun :)
✅ I offer my students reading articles, audios and videos, in addition to language materials, which I will share with them via Google drive or directly by Zoom or Skype
✅ We will be able to discuss current topics, the history of my country or any other subject that is important for the student
✅ The oral exchange with a native speaker will be at the heart of our lessons to help you progress

I've had a few lessons with different teachers on italki, and I have to say Robin has been the best so far.
He brings the right amount of positivity, energy, and knowledge to each lesson - I have really learnt a lot in the short time I have been learning with him.

I HIGHLY recommend Robin. He goes above and beyond for his students. After years of French classes, I have never had a teacher show me the nuances of pronounciation like him. It is always the typical nasals, vowels, etc. Robin actually teaches you how to make sentences flow and where to put the emphasis in a way that makes you sound like a native to a degree I have never been taught. He is incredible and goes the extra mile for all of his students. Cannot recommend highly enough! I hope he never leaves italki!

Robin is a pro. He teaches through conversation, not instruction. He builds sessions around topics you actually care about, corrects naturally without making you feel bad, and brings real cultural knowledge to every class. He creates a space where you feel safe taking risks in French, which is where the real learning happens. By the end of each session, you realize you've been speaking French for an hour and it felt easy.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to actually use the language, not just study it.
