I love to promote understanding. Professionally, I build data analytics models and advise my clients on cyberspace plans and strategy. I also teach statistics and programming at a local college, and in the past have taught regular seminars of U.S. Army officers in the subject of joint operations. I am crazy about computer science and everything that goes with it. However in my free time to get away from screens I love to hike, exercise and read. I have a good understanding of Russian, Ukrainian and some other languages and I generally know how people learn language. There is not just one path.

Moi en tant que professeur

I specialize in students who are proficient in technology and wish to build their English skills to better communicate in a business setting. I have a lot of experience as a remote teacher and a fair amount of experience teaching English in particular. I am patient, kind and open to recommendations by the student. My strength is that I am not just a full time teacher but I work in technology as well, am curious about it, and will ask questions of the student if I am not familiar with a particular field, such as database administration.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

My lessons are conversation focused and English only. I will not speak a foreign language during the lesson. I may provide a prompt or subject but they can go in any direction that the student wishes to go. My typical students have been Brazilians working in Sao Paolo who find themselves working for a foreign technology firm, or a Russian who is in a similar situation. Generally I tailor the lessons to what a student wants to do, such as prepare for a specific set of business meetings.
