Kimi

I always have a good lesson with Kimi. We review past material and she introduces new material using examples and asks questions that challenge my abilities. I never fail to learn something about Japanese culture that I didn't know before. In this past lesson she explained a usage of a word, or grammar point, that is fairly new in Japan. It was fascinating. Another example of how languages are not static and change constantly. I highly recommend Kimi to anyone wanting to learn Japanese.

Kimi is the best teacher! She is so personable & always super interesting to talk to about everything and anything. She has taught me so much in the last 2 years and I am finally feeling better about speaking my thoughts as they come into my head and can communicate with other people! I love talking about travelling, family, you tubing and cooking as Kimi is a pro at all of them! Lessons are always tailored to exactly what I am needing that day talking in natural Japanese. I can't recommend her high enough! ^_^

Kimi is a great teacher! She plans the lesson around my personal objectives, revises content from the last lesson at the start, and lets me know what to expect next time. She uses real examples such looking at Japanese menus for practicing ordering in Japanese which is so fun. She is really friendly and helpful. I recommend Kimi!

I completed a 15-lesson block with Kimi Sensei. She starts each lesson with review and has structured lessons. She explains points of grammar and shares what's naturally spoken versus more formal alternative structures. She's encouraging and very helpful! She thinks carefully about lesson content and puts in lots of effort. I especially love the visual aids she brings to help me learn Japanese. どうもありがとうございます。
