Edison is seriously the best- he's super patient and really cares about your learning. I feel like that's a large reason why I've made so much progress with him! Definitely take his classes if you want to learn how to express and articulate your thoughts :)

Salamat! This was very helpful to see where I needed improvement in vocabulary. Also appreciate that you were patient with me fumbling over my words. Thanks again!

I’ve done Tagalog lessons with Edison for nearly a month now. I’ve tried a lot of different tutors prior to him. He is simply different because he comes to class really prepared, but the biggest part for me was that he was really able to understand my needs and meet me where I am at in my Tagalog. I understand Tagalog, so starting completely over didn’t suit my needs. We do role play, vocab, talk about current events, interests, grammar and sentence structure, etc. It’s a safe space to mess up and learn, as well as challenging enough but fun! Edison provides a lot of feedback, is easy to talk to, and has a calm and great demeanor as a teacher. I really recommend him to everyone, especially if you are receptive bilingual. I’m looking forward to continuing my Tagalog journey and becoming fluent!
