My name is Zaklin. I am Greek and a certified teacher of the Greek language. I hold a bachelor's degree in Greek Language and Literature, along with a master's degree in teaching Greek as a foreign language.
Over the past 8 years, I have been teaching Modern Greek, Ancient Greek, as well as Greek literature and history, both in person and via Skype. I am proficient in English, French, and Spanish, which allows me to teach in any of these languages.

I love my job, teaching my language, and sharing the culture, traditions, and customs with people from around the world.
My experience includes teaching Modern and Ancient Greek, Greek literature, and History in private schools in Greece, as well as offering private lessons. In 2018, I began teaching Greek as a foreign language, and since then, I have had the opportunity to assist students from various parts of the world.
Additionally, I have a passion for learning languages, which led me to achieve proficiency in English (C2), Spanish (C2), and French (C2). As a teacher, I strive to tailor lessons according to students' age, needs, purposes, and interests.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
During each lesson, you will receive the necessary materials. My courses encompass reading, listening, speaking, and writing exercises, as well as homework, tailored to meet individual needs.
I can also prepare you for exams such as 'Ellinomatheia,' or assist with other purposes, like job interviews. Our classes will follow a structured textbook, where we'll learn new vocabulary, grammar, engage in Greek dialogues, and practice everyday conversations, enhancing our grammar skills, and more. Emphasizing oral communication in Greek, I aim to facilitate rapid progress for my students.

This bachelor’s degree enables me to teach modern Greek, Αncient Greek, Greek literature or History, Philosophy and Latin in secondary education in Greece.

Master - Teaching Greek as a foreign languageMy love for my mother tongue as well as for foreign languages led me to the postgraduate studies in “Teaching Greek as a second / foreign language” at the University of Nicosia. This diploma enables me to better teach my native language to foreigners and to use different methods according to the needs of each student.

Learning Greek is a challenge, but with Zaklin’s help it’s doable:) Zaklin has a talent to explain difficult Greek grammar easily. I’m so happy to have such a supportive and always friendly teacher. In the end, it’s Not all Greek to me. Ahaha!

Awesome class with Zaklin! There is always a surprise, an extra information or an additional way to enjoy and practice the language. As we talked about fruits and vegetables today, Zaklin shared a cooking show to check after class. I really enjoy how Zaklin inspires me to integrate my knowledge in real life even on A1 level (when you would think that there is nothing yet out there to comprehend:)
